Vellum is a flashcard app for iPhone and Mac. Paste your notes — or pull them straight from an Obsidian vault — and Vellum's AI turns them into clean question-and-answer cards. A modern spaced-repetition algorithm (FSRS) then shows each card right before you'd forget it, so knowledge moves into long-term memory and stays there. Your decks sync privately through your own iCloud.

Common topics:

• Cards aren't syncing: make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on every device and that iCloud Drive is enabled. Syncing can take a minute on first sign-in.
• Generation failed: try again in a moment — the AI service is occasionally busy. If it keeps failing, email us with roughly when it happened so we can look into it.
• Running low on energy: invite a friend with your referral code to earn more.
